About Me and Copy All

Playing the role of "house husband," I'm a veteran of the US Air Force yet, not necessarily an outsider looking in--I'm a spouse of an Active Duty Airman assigned to the Air Force District of Washington.  I think I've been on several sides of the fence--1-was a military brat 2-military married to another military person 3-now a spouse of an active duty person.  I fully understand the mission, commitment, the long hours, the long deployments, why she does what she does, and without questioning her military life.  With that in mind, I hope to bring a different take on my blogs, in that I can read through bravo sierra, because I've "been there done that, and I got my coin."

I am proud to have friends and family that serve and those that have served.  A quote from a great friend, Brandy states, "This is why we consider the friends we make in the military our family...because they would die for us w/out a second thought," and that is very true.  Although my duty is done, I continue serving by volunteering with organizations that directly impact those that have given all and those that continue to serve.
